The well-woman yoga class takes an integrated approach to facilitating women’s health, vitality and well-being. We bring awareness to our body, mind, emotions and breath and we seek to connect with our feminine intuition and wisdom in order to strengthen, heal and to live more fully.
This class is a combination of breath practices, muscle awareness exercises, asanas, vinyasas, and relaxation. It is suitable for both the beginner and the more experienced student. Poses and practices are always adapted to the ability of the students and students are encouraged to listen to their body. Classes are also modified according to feedback from the students during our check-in at the beginning of class.
Please wear comfortable clothing that allows movement. You are welcome to eat a light snack before class (yogurt or fruit) if you might be hungry. You are welcome to bring water if desired. Mats and other props will be provided. Previous yoga experience is not required.
